Michael Halterman ordered to surrender his firearms to Kentucky Sheriffs

Amy's ex-husband Michael has recently been ordered by a Kentucky court to surrender his firearms. The reality star is not allowed to keep any firearms with him until the open domestic violence case filed against him has closed. According to the court documents obtained by The US Sun, the Kentucky court has ordered Michael must "surrender any and all firearms currently in his possession to the Sheriff." The court further noted that the Sheriff's office will store Michael's firearm until the 'required hearing is held or the action is dismissed.' However, Michael is allowed to re-claim his firearm if the court does not rule a domestic violence order or any other restrictive order against him. Meanwhile, the latest court order comes after Amy filed a domestic violence case against her ex-husband amid their ongoing divorce.

Inside Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman's explosive argument

Amy filed a complaint against her ex-husband Michael for domestic violence and made some explosive allegations in a Kentucky court on February 24. The reality star accused Michal of being 'mentally abusive' and 'controlling.' According to the court documents, Amy revealed, "The night of 2/24/23 he got mad that I went to take the kids with my sister to eat." TLC star also accused Michael that he was 'too violent' around their sons Gage and Glenn. The reality star further claimed that Michael hits too hard and pulls them by the arm. After a heated argument, Amy filed an emergency protection order for herself and their two sons on February 28. While Michael admitted he had an argument with Amy's sister, he continuously denied all of Amy's claims of domestic violence.
