Amy Slaton drops multiple clues before divorce
Not every high school sweetheart couple is meant to be forever! Michael recently filed for the dissolution of marriage to his estranged wife. However, Michael and Amy's divorce didn't come as a surprise as the reality star has previously dropped several clues. In her Valentine's Day post, Amy made no mention of her husband which went unnoticed by her followers. Instead, the reality star shared adorable photos of their sons Glenn and Gage. Meanwhile, Amy snubbed Michael in her son's eighth monthiversary post. Additionally, '1000-lb Sisters' viewers have also witnessed their turbulent relationship on television. Notably, '1000-lb Sisters' viewers were 'disgusted' with Michael's behavior during a recent episode of the TLC show which was filmed before their split. Amy struggled to manage both her young kids while cooking, and her husband offered no help and carried on feeding himself. Amy also complained in the confessional clip about Michael's behavior. She said, "It's really hard because Gage is crying, Glenn is getting mad and wanting another bottle, and daddy ain't doing s**t." Moreover, Amy moved out of Michael's Kentucky house with her kids and lived with her sister Tammy.
Amy Slaton gives marriage advice to her sister Tammy
Ahead of Tammy's wedding to Caleb, Amy gave some marriage advice to her sister. Tammy was seemingly nervous before the ceremony and asked Amy if she had any marriage advice for her and Caleb. Amy advised Tammy, "Just talk calmly and rationally." Meanwhile, in the confessional clip, Amy explained, "Communication is important in a relationship." The reality star added, "If you don't talk, it builds up and it's toxic." TLC star further added, "Tammy needs to learn to speak the f**k up," adding, "Well, Tammy needs to learn to shut the f**k up, and let Caleb talk a little bit."
