In Netflix's upcoming Mexican horror movie 'Menendez: The Day of the Lord', exorcism is not how you remember it. It gets deadlier, scarier and spine-chilling. Written and directed by Santiago Alvarado Ilarri, 'Menendez: The Day of the Lord' follows a priest who has lost faith and lives in seclusion. Haunted by his own sins, he no longer puts his trust in God. That is, until he gets a visit from a friend seeking help for his possessed daughter. Is it time to Menendez to make things right? Or will he be pulled into the very darkness he longs to escape?

Dolores Heredia as Marisa
Mexican actress Heredia plays the role of Menendez's past. In the trailer for the movie, she is seen haunting his dreams. How is she connected with the priest?
Heredia is best known for her work in 'Diablero', 'Sense8', 'Two Men in Town', 'Bless Me, Ultima', 'El Santos vs. La Tetona Mendoza' and 'Chicuarotes', a role for which she was nominated for the Ariel Awards for Best Supporting Actress. For her role in 'Sonora', she received the same nomination in 2018.
Ximena Romo as Raquel
Romo plays the role of Raquel, the possessed daughter of Menendez's friend who arrives at his doorstep seeking help.
The Mexican actress is best known for her portrayal of Nora in 'El color de la pasión'. She is also known for playing Maria in 'Oveja negra', Mila in 'Soy tu fan', Luci in 'Como si fuera la primera vez', Rosa in 'Mentada de padre' and Rita in 'This is Not Berlin', a role for which he was nominated for the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actress. Romo trained as an actress at the Casazul Artes Escénicas Argos in Mexico, following which she went on to get an MA in contemporary acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama of the University of London.
On television, she is known for her performances as Laura in 'Un extraño enemigo', Ambar in 'Yago' and Camila Salvatierra in 'Vencer el miedo'.
Juli Fábregas as Menendez
Fábregas plays the titular role of Menendez, the priest who no longer has faith. The actor is best known for his work in 'The Tree of Blood', 'Fallen Cape', 'Love in Difficult Times', 'El Comisario', '[Rec] 2', 'Mar de fons', 'The Hockey Girls', and 'Blank Bullet'.
