'I felt very alone': Meghan Trainor says she was 'first' among her friends to settle down after marrying Daryl Sabara
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Trainor spoke candidly about how she is the youngest among her friends to have found her "soulmate." The pop star, 29, further admitted that she felt “very alone” after falling in love and settling down with her husband Daryl Sabara as she was the first to take that step.
The 'All About That Bass' hitmaker met the ‘Spy Kids’ actor at a house party in 2014 and was set up by their mutual friend Chloe Grace Moretz. The pair soon began dating in 2016 leading to Trainor being the 'first' among her friends to fall in love and settle down. "I'm the youngest out of my friends who's found my soulmate. My friends were like, 'You go through it first so I can learn.' And so I felt very alone,” explained Trainor, who married Sabara in 2018, as per AceShowbiz.

'Now I have mom friends'
Meanwhile, Trainor, who is expecting a second child, has started attending mommy-and-me classes in Los Angeles with the likes of Mandy Moore, Ashley Tisdale, and Hilary Duff. "Now I have mom friends. Now I'm pregnant, with other people. And it's the best feeling. It's just been so much better this time around," she told E! News. She welcomed her first child, Riley, who is now nearly two years old, with Daryl in February 2018.
Trainor thought she was experiencing chemical pregnancy
Comparing her latest pregnancy with her first, the singer said that the experience has been quite different. While speaking to E! News, Trainor admitted to being worried that she was going through a pregnancy loss with her second child because of the amount of bleeding she had "in the beginning." However, after continuing to test her pregnancy every day upon the advice of her doctor, the singer realized that she was not experiencing a chemical pregnancy and was, in fact, expecting.
'I was just super lost'
As per the outlet, Trainor also revealed that she felt "super lost" after giving birth to her son via C-section. She shared, "The first song I wrote after giving birth... I mean, after having a C-section with my stretch marks, I was feeling extra, like, not loving myself. I was heavier than I've ever been and I was just super lost. The first song I wrote is called 'Remind Me' and it's about how my husband reminds me who I once was and then how beautiful he thinks I am and I see a lot of that in this album."
