Meghan McCain latest to slam Kanye West's music video, as opinion turns on 'dangerous' rapper
Meghan McCain has made it clear that she does not appreciate Kanye "Ye" West's multiple attempts to harass Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson. Meghan McCain wrote a column in Daily Mail, on Friday, 4 March where she openly slammed Kanye West's one-sided rivalry with Pete Davidson and highlighted Hollywood’s double standards on the issue.
Meghan talked about Kanye’s psychotic tendencies in past. From pretending to run for the presidential election, publicly breaking down in political rallies, attempting to abort his first daughter with Kim to now releasing a new music video "Eazy" where he visualizes kidnapping Pete and burying him alive in the coffin, Kanye has crossed all the lines trying to win back Kim.

She said, “If Kanye were an average person and not a megastar, no one would be entertained by the way he is treating his ex-wife and her new boyfriend."
She asked, “Imagine if Cardi B were doing this to Offset on her social media platforms?”
She continued questioning Kanye’s action and the support he is getting, “Why is it that we are continuing to give Kanye, a 44-year-old man the benefit of the doubt and not extend the same sympathy to Kim?”
“Is it because she has posed nude many times and is the star of a famous sex tape? Is it because she is a woman?”
“Is it because she has opened her life to us so much that we feel like she is now a commodity instead of simply a mother with four children being threatened publicly?”
She argued that Kanye has been dangerous. His actions are putting Pete in a risky situation. Though Kanye’s new song is trending no. 1 on charts it’s highly triggering. "In an era, when we are looking back on public figures, who were very open about their abusive actions and incorporated it into their work (Bill Cosby is one of the first to come to mind), why we are treating Kanye's strange behavior as a sign of his genius?" she asked.
Meghan demanded a ban on Kanye’s music and clothes. She also slammed sports brand Adidas' partnership with the rapper.
Meghan is not alone to bash Kanye on his actions. In a recent interview, comedian DL Hugley talked about Kanye's stalking behavior and how he has put the reality star Kardashian in a grave situation. Hugley said, “The difference between Kanye and a restraining order is about twenty hits and a couple of million dollars.”
The columnist supported Kim and lauded her bravery. She asked her readers to treat the “undefeated queen” with respect and compassion. The reality star is now a single woman once again after divorce in a virtual court hearing that took place on Wednesday, 2 March, the megastar also officially and legally dropped "West" from her last name.
