Kanye West pens startling POEM comparing divorce to ‘full blown Covid’ and 'being shot'

Ye compared his divorce to 'walking on glass,' one’s 'soul and getting dragged over coals,' among other horrible things

Kanye West, who reportedly tried his best to stall the divorce with Kim Kardashian, finally spoke on getting divorced with the help of a poem. The move comes 48 hours after a court in Las Vegas declared the reality star as “legally single”. Kim Kardashian then did not waste any time in dropping the surname ‘West’ across all social media platforms. This might have triggered the rap star to pull off his latest stunt.
 
Kanye, who now simply goes by the name Ye, took to his Instagram and wiped off all the recent posts he had shared before finally giving his take on the messy split with Kim Kardashian. The 44-year-old rap icon shared a poem on divorce where he compared his divorce to a number of things that also included Covid and getting beat up in the mall.

Kanye West shares poem on divorce 

Sharing the post with his more than 15 million followers on Instagram, the ‘Donda’ hitmaker compared his divorce to “walking on glass,” one’s “soul and getting dragged over coals,” among other horrible things. The poem also included a few lines that state, “Divorce feels like a full blown Covid/Divorce feels like your kids were snatched from your control/ Divorce feels like you’ve been shot and traffic is slow/ Divorce feels like heavy breathing/ Divorce feels like grandma never got over that cold/ Divorce feels like suffocating/ Barely breathing.”
 
It is, however, not clear, whether Kanye penned the poem. The Grammy-winning rap legend also did not caption the only post on his Instagram. He has, so far, also not commented anything else after Kim dropped the surname ‘West’ on social media. Kim, in one of her recent court documents, had said, “I very much desire to be divorced” adding that Kanye’s social media posts had caused her "emotional distress." Kim had shared, “I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress. I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children." Kim and Kanye got married in 2014 and share four kids namely North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

‘Kanye acting like he never went through a breakup’

Social media users did not hesitate at all to clown Kanye West over his poem on divorce. “Lol not a whole poem on divorce. Kanye is something else”, mocked one user as another posted, “Not Kanye writing a whole a** poem about divorce.” One user stated, “For the record, Kimberly deserves to live her life freely. Rough as it is now, I hope he’ll get over it and move on.”
 
The next one added, “Hope his arms are okay after that reach.” Whereas, one individual tweeted, “He should have appreciated her more when she was there with him then.” Another shared, “He really thought he ate that huh.” One requested, “Kanye pls hang it up at this point.” Meanwhile, another said, “He should just leave her alone at this point it’s obvious she’s not gonna marry him again”, as another mentioned, “Kanye acting like he never went through a breakup.” One user suggested, “Give him a restraining order please.”
