'Mayans MC' Season 2 Episode 5: Family secrets disrupt life in Santo Padre
Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 4 'Lahun Chan' of 'Mayans MC'
What an episode it has been. 'Mayans MC' revealed some very shocking secrets in the fourth episode of Season 2 'Lahun Chan.'
The Reyes brothers finally get to confront Happy (David Labrava) regarding the murder of their mother nine years ago. He tells that she died because of his goof-up - that he was supposed to also kill the father, Felipe (Edward James Olmos).
Still processing this piece of information, the brothers are further confused when Happy tells them that it was Packer (the Sons of Anarchy president for the San Bernardino chapter) who called for the hit.
At the same time, he informed them that while he may have given them Packer's name, they might not get anything out from him because "he is anal about reconds, but won't have a name, that's not how it works."
Simultaneously, Dita (Ada Maris) tells Felipe that Miguel (Danny Pino) is actually his son. When a worried Felipe asks her if anyone knows about this secret, she promises him that no one does and that no one ever will.
The bigger question, however, is really? A promo for Episode 5 titled 'Xquic' released by the FX shows otherwise.
In the promo, we can see Emily (Sarah Bolger) chat with Felipe. He tells her that "this history won't hurt the ones you love." We want to speculate that Emily was led to Felipe following her discovery of the old photograph from Dita's possession seeking answers. The official synopsis of the episode read: An unexpected storm kicks up dust south of the border, as old family secrets bleed into familial affairs.
The promo also shows a tense scene between Potter (Ray McKinnon) and Adelita (Carla Baratta) and it looks like he is pressurising her to get rid of Paloma. How will this play out along with the Galindo cartel and Miguel?
It is also fully possible that the Reyes brothers face some trouble with their investigations into their mother's death, as seen in the promo. Will Angel face his back to the club for revenge?
'Mayans MC' airs Tuesdays at 10 pm on FX.
