'Manifest' Season 1: Who or what can be the Holy Grail? Here's what we think

The Holy Grail has been the subject of several works of art, and probably Jeff Rake chose not to differ from the ancient legends.
UPDATED JAN 11, 2019

Creator Jeff Rake left us a with a plethora of clues to draw conclusions from in the tenth episode, and the promo trailer of the eleventh episode promises to delve deeper into these clues. However, the one clue that has helped the show to make some major progress in its story is the Holy Grail. The tenth episode had seen the unidentified Major looking for a Holy Grail, and as soon as Ben (played by Josh Dallas) comes to know about it he seeks out every help to find out what the Holy Grail truly indicates. This point onward it seems that 'Manifest' is once again relying on the mythical in order to find the solution to the puzzle.

The Holy Grail has been the subject of several pieces of Western art, and it dates back to a time as ancient as the medieval period. The legend found its shape in the 13th Century Arthurian legends, where the Grail was the main objective of the Knights' pursuit. While the term suggests a wide-mouthed vessel, Holy Grail is chiefly associated with its Biblical terminology. The Grail was known to have been the cup used by Jesus during the Last Supper and was later on used to collect his blood during crucifixion by Joseph of Arimathea. Legends say that Joseph brought the cup to Britain where it remained hidden for several centuries, and the Arthurian legends pick up from this point where the Knights go on a quest to hunt down the Grail.
