Spoilers for 'Making the Cut' Episode 9

Esther Perbandt has easily one of the most consistent designers on 'Making The Cut.' She has won three challenges and has the judges — Joseph Altuzarra, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Chiara Ferragni, and Nicole Richie — wrapped around her little finger.

Even though she has immense faith in her black universe and prefers her designs all-black, judges have, from time to time, reminded her that maybe she should experiment with colors because if she were to sell online, having a completely black collection might be a challenge. Usually, the website pages don't always reflect the detailing of an outfit and that's something she might want to consider.

But before the judges could catch a glimpse of what she had to offer as part of her 14-look collection for the pop-up store, Tim Gunn arrived aiming to discuss her ideas for the store's art direction. It was halfway done and Tim was worried because there were thick ropes hanging from the ceiling, which he thought would be a "massive tripping hazard" for everyone who would visit her store. But she stayed with her idea.

Naomi and Heidi were pleased with her collection and bought a handful of clothes from her store. Later, they were even treated with black icecreams from black cones with golden spoons. Both were impressed, especially Heidi who thought Esther really knows how to rope people in. While Naomi thought each time she picked up a garment, she would discover a detail she missed out the first time.

Clearly, she has managed to impress the judges with her skill and talent, but will her clothes sell online? That's a grave concern for the judges, especially Joseph and Chiara.

"I have some concerns about the online experience. And the color only being black because it doesn't pop off of a page," Joseph added, while Chiara commented that Esther's clothes look better once you wear them but from the rack, it may be confusing for a buyer to figure out how to wear them.

Will the judges look past Esther's tendency to go for black all the time and give her a spot in the finale? Time will tell. For now, catch all the episodes of 'Making The Cut' on Amazon Prime Video.
