This whimsical new concept showcases a group of experienced, professional builders on the reality show, led by Jimmy DiResta, bringing the bizarre ideas of kids to life. Gear up to experience some solid intricate and expertly-constructed 'fun' on March 4!

What is 'Making Fun' all about?

The official synopsis reads: "Grumpy expert maker Jimmy DiResta fields kids' ideas for delightfully pointless inventions. Then - if he's in the mood - he and his pals build 'em". 

Who stars in the Netflix reality show?

Jimmy DiResta

Jimmy DiResta, a designer, artist, and video producer from New York, formed a toy design company/store called "DiResta" in the East Village. His company created Gurglin’ Gutz, a rubber toy replica of a mini human organ. 

DeRista studied in the School of Visual Arts and graduated with a BFA degree, and later went on to pursue his learning as a teacher at the same school. 

As of 2016, DeRista has had a Youtube channel where he makes items including furniture, lamps, sculptures, jewelry, knives, and several other things. He is mostly seen using wood in his projects but has also made use of other materials. Since the start of his YouTube journey, DeRista has had over 67 million views on his videos, some of which include tips and tricks on restoration projects as well.

Paul Jackman is an actor and professional builder. 'Making Fun' has been a great boost to his career, overall. He likes to take on creative projects that are fun and challenging. 



 

Christopher Woodley

Born in NYC, Christopher is an American actor, of Black and American Indian descent. He realized his calling was acting when he was cast as a Munchkin in his elementary school play, "The Wizard of Oz".

From there, there was no looking back. At 6, he appeared in several regional and national commercials, and also acted in several short films. One of Christopher's notable roles was that of a guest star appearance on NBC's 'Law and Order SVU'. He is also a member of SAG-AFTRA.

Aside from basking in the spotlight on camera, he enjoys indulging in sports like baseball, basketball, and soccer and loves reading history books. He is also adept in swimming and skateboarding.

Malia Woodley

Malia Woodley is a child actress, known for her roles in 'Sans Everything', and Netflix's upcoming reality show, 'Making Fun'.

 Mechelle Collins, Kevin Dill, and Mare Odair are the executive producers of the show. Intuitive Entertainment will produce the series.
