SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: When he saw his former female lead, Rio Yamashita, bonding with other guys in the house, 'Love Like a K-drama' star Song Ji Hyuk attempted to take matters into his own hands.

Even though the notion of Soju and love confessions seem adventurous, the ultimate outcome may be frightening, as Ji Hyuk discovered the hard way.

In Episode 5 of 'Love Like a K-drama', Ji Hyuk learned that Rio was on a dinner/date with Kim Dong Kyu, which surely bothered him. Both drunk on soju, Ji Hyuk and Rio sit down for a chat, which didn't go as either of them expected.

Ji Hyuk expresses his desire to collaborate with Rio in order to spend more time with her. He also expresses his disappointment at having to give her up to Lee Tae Gyun for the second audition.

Rio, clearly inebriated, informs Ji Hyuk that he can't always get what he wants. She says that she is stress-free since she does not have a preference.

Ji Hyuk continues to reassure Rio that he will always be there for her. She rebels as he continues to encourage her to rely on and trust him.

Rio claims she dislikes relying on others.

As the remainder of the cast arrives, Ji Hyuk takes Rio away from the throng for another heart-to-heart.

Rio, against her wishes, follows him. She informs "grumpy" Ji Hyuk that she intends to live her life her way and declares, "My life, my way."

Ji Hyuk insists that Rio must depend on him in times of need, forcing Rio to leave the conversation early.

Rio says she will try, but she is confident that "it's not going to happen."

On their day off, the cast visits a restaurant and devours a hearty meal. Ji Hyuk took this opportunity to publicly apologize to Rio.

As he begins to talk about the night before, everyone tries to cheer him up. In his defense, he adds, "I had too much to drink, and I was out of line with Rio. I was drunk and acted inappropriately. I spoke in a very aggressive manner."

Rio quickly dismisses the situation by adding, "Yes, but I was honest about how I felt. So, it's over."
