'Love it or List it': Hilary Farr's stunning renovation has fans loving the house along with homeowners

Though Hilary wasn't able to renovate and give the couple everything they wanted, she managed to make them love it, and not list it.

'Love it or List it' returned on Monday night for an all-new episode, and this one was particularly tough for both Hilary Farr and David Visentin because pleasing a couple who has a custom-made house is not an easy thing to do. But luckily, though Hilary wasn't able to renovate and give the couple everything they wanted, she managed to make them love it, and not list it.

This week's house that was on the show was a complete mess with clusters of things just thrown all around, right from the household stuff to the kids' toys lying around everywhere. Apart from that the worst part about the house, was its location. It was located right near the highway, which made it impossible to have some silence inside the house due to the continuous ongoing traffic. Though Brandi wanted to shift the house, her husband seemed to think otherwise.

To love it, the couple needed Hilary to open up and renovate their kitchen, improve the dining room, create two bedrooms for their boys, create a main floor guest room, Improve Brandi's office because she spends most of her time there, and created a mudroom.

To list it, the couple needed David to find a house with an open kitchen and living room, have four bedrooms, with one being on the main floor for the guest, more than three bathrooms, office space for Brandi with ample closet space, bonus room for the kids, quiet location and not more than 15 minutes far from the old location.

Hilary went all out for this episode, she soundproofed most of the rooms so the traffic sound wouldn't disturb them. She expanded the kitchen and made it a place the couple fell in love with, she also gave them a dining room with a direct view of the garden. She created an extra bedroom with more space. But she did have to make a compromise when it came to the mudroom and Brandi's office space. She couldn't fit both into the budget. But Brandi shared that she needs the mudroom more than her office space, so Hilary didn't renovate the office space but gave Brandi the massive mudroom she needed.

Though David was able to find the house that meets the couple's needs right below their budget, the couple fell in love with the house after seeing Hilary's renovations and decided to love it and not list it. Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans raved about Hilary's renovation sharing that they are happy the couple loved it and didn't list it.

"Fantastic job! #LoveItOrListIt #OnHGTV," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "That kitchen! I would have loved it too! #LoveItOrListIt."

"@Hilary_Farr you have done it again! I love when you say garage #loveitorlistit," wrote a fan. While another added, "Fantastic renovation, @Hilary_Farr! You really knocked it out of the park! #LoveItOrListIt #OnHGTV."

'Love it or List it' airs every Monday night only on HGTV. Check your local listings for more information.
