'Love Island USA' Season 6: Hakeem White slammed for 'blindsiding' Liv Walker
MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 6's latest episode was filled with a rollercoaster of emotions with turning points of multiple connections. Hakeem White showed his interest in coupling up with Nicole Jacky ditching his connection Liv Walker.
Although Nicole didn't couple up with Hakeem, Liv was devasted with the ultimate betrayal. Liv expressed her feelings and admitted to being hurt, meanwhile, Hakeem expressed his frustration in their long-awaited breakup fight. Liv felt blindsided when Hakeem admitted that their breakup as they were having multiple problems that they couldn't work through together.
During the heated confrontation, Hakeem accused Liv of not being mature and Liv responded by accusing him of "giving her rules" and trying to change her. Tension escalated between the islanders and Hakeem yelled out to Liv: "You're not mature enough to listen to that."
Hakeem explained, "If you were mature you would've sat down and talked to me like a civilized person like everybody here. Whenever somebody has problems nobody yells and goes erratic like you're doing right now." He further noted, "You are literally the most negative person in this house and you're the root of a lot of problems here."
Liv notably received support from her fellow islanders who were also furious over Hakeem. However, Hakeem's latest rant against Liv received brutal backlash from the viewers with some of them demanding elimination. Multiple viewers also called out Hakeem's betrayal and slammed him for yelling at Liv.
Liv Walker breaks down after Hakeem White's rant
'Love Island USA' Season 6 islander Hakeem White's furious rant left Liv Walker in tears. The islander's 'negative person' comment fumed Liv and she shouted at Hakeem slamming him for ditching her. However, Liv later tearfully questioned in the confessional, "I'm the most negative person here?"
The Peacock show star added, "No I'm not a horrible person. I can't sit there and listen to him be so condescending and rude to my face. He's not understanding it and then to say that in front of everyone - go be with whoever you want to be with but just don't string me along."
Hakeem White calls out Liv Walker's 'lack of effort'
'Love Island USA' Season 6 star Liv Walker coupled up with Hakeem during the recoupling ceremony after she felt Robert Rausch was not attracted to her. Liv and Hakeem started their connection as friends but soon turned it into a romantic relationship.
Despite their steamy romance, Hakeem felt like Liv was not making enough effort to make their relationship stronger. He was quite disappointed that he slammed Liv for giving him "bull****" and pointed out several instances he felt like Liv wasn't fully invested in their connection.
