'Love Island USA' Season 6: Daia McGhee slams show's producers for 'fake' Odell Beckham Jr's comment
MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 6 star Daia McGhee arrived in the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell to win over Kordell Beckham. She did couple up with Kordell but the rumors soon started swirling that she was using him to date his NFL star brother, Odell Beckham Jr.
Additionally, the Peacock show producers also chimed in the drama and showed the islanders allegedly a 'photoshopped' tweet of Daia's flirty comment on Odell's photo. Daia received a lot of backlash over the tweet and now she slammed the rumors.
In a recent interview with Today, Daia slammed the producers for showing the fake tweet and noted, "They could have definitely, easily checked if it was fake or not. Obviously, it caused a little bit more drama so I understand why they put it in."
So that’s actually a real story. I actually have the photos up and everything. I didn’t know what they were talking about. Obviously, we don’t have access to social media in the villa, so I didn’t know what comment that they were trying to say that I had ever commented on his brother’s photos. But I genuinely knew that I didn’t, which is why I was so confused...I didn’t really understand it. But then getting out of the villa, then I got to see the actual fake comment.
Daia McGhee admits to commenting on Odell Beckham Jr's photo
'Love Island USA' Season 6 star Daia McGhee notably clarified that she did leave a comment on Odell Beckham Jr's photo but that was not flirty at all. She shared with the outlet, "Just to clarify, I told him that the only comment that I would have ever made of his brother, like in a photo, was on my ex boyfriend’s photo because they went to dinner together."
Daia claimed that she didn't have any idea during her gig on the show which photo they were actually talking about as they didn't have access to social media in the villa. However, things got clear after she got out from the villa that the tweet shown on the show was actually 'fake'.

'Love Island USA' Season 6 star Daia McGhee dumped Kordell Beckham as soon she realized that he wanted to be with Serena Page. She snapped at Kordell during the break and accused him of lying about making efforts in their connection. Daia recently claimed that they didn't talk for a few days after the split.
However, she also revealed that Kordell apologized to her after she got eliminated. Kordell told Daia, "I'm sorry for how I handled things. I could have done things a little bit better." Daia also apologized to Kordell. She further revealed that Kordell expected her to see around outside the villa. Daia and Kordell's connection with Serena has developed a strong friendship and they would definitely hang out together as well as Kordell.
