'Love Island USA' Season 5 islander Destiny Zammarra fell asleep as soon she got into the hideaway

PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5's Casa Amor twist is making everything more complicated with each episode.

The original islanders, divided into separate spaces, make connections with new bombshells.

The stakes have never been higher as the spicy challenges sabotage more connections.

In the latest episode, however, the islanders must choose a male and a female couple to cozy up with in their hideaway. But things didn't turn out as expected.

Destiny Zammarra falls asleep on Isiah 'Zay' Harayda

In the latest episode, the islanders received a text which read, "As a result of tying in today's Raunchy Races challenge both Hideaways are open.

Each Villa has the option to choose 1 boy and 1girl to share a night alone. The Casa Amor islanders chose Destiny Zammarra and Isiah 'Zay' Harayda to spend a night together.

Both the islanders seemed to be excited to take a new step up the connection. Unfortunately, Destiny fell asleep even before Zay entered the hideaway.

Zay hugged Destiny tight and slept with her. Despite nothing happened between them, Destiny left the hideaway excitedly.

'What was the point of going to the hideaway then?'

Although Zay didn't have any issue with Destiny when she fell asleep, the viewers slammed the Peacock show to waste hideaway.

The social media user wrote, "Destiny fell asleep as soon as she got in the hideaway!! Girl what was the point of going to the hideaway?? Bffr. No convo.. no nothing"

Another viewer said, "Destiny GOING TO SLEEP IN THE HIDEAWAY ARE YOU JOKING RN SEND THIS GIRL HOME RN RN RN."

"Destiny’s boring ass HAS to go home… Who tf fall asleep in the hideaway? Such a waste!!!" noted another user.

Another person wrote, "I'm pissed they wasted the Hideaway on Destiny when Imani and dude coulda been in there and they really would have tried to get to know each other like bffr."

Another critic tweeted, "Destiny really was excited to go to The Hideaway just to…..sleep? Another unserious individual"

Another Twitter user said, "Ain’t no way. Destiny did not just fall asleep before this man could chat with her in the hideaway."

'Love Island USA' Season 5 premiered on Peacock on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. During premiere week, new episodes will be available to stream every day at 9 pm ET. Subsequently, new episodes will be released on Thursdays through Tuesdays on Peacock.
