MAMANUCA, FIJI: In the latest episode of 'Love Island USA' Season 6, st episode of 'Love Island USA' Season 6, the villa was shaken by a double elimination, leaving contestants Rob and Liv unexpectedly single.
Initially paired with new arrivals Cassidy and Nigel Okafur respectively, neither relationship flourished as hoped. Liv especially struggled with Nigel, often clashing with him and sparking frequent arguments.
The elimination process came as a surprise when it was revealed that the public had voted, placing the two couples with the lowest votes in jeopardy. Tensions ran high as the islanders gathered around the fire pit, anxiously awaiting their fate. Ultimately, all couples were spared except Rob and Cassidy, and Liv and Nigel.
A twist ensued as the remaining islanders were asked to stand behind the individuals they wanted to save. Overwhelmingly, the islanders rallied behind Liv and Rob, leaving Cassidy without any support and Nigel with just one vote, which wasn't enough to keep him in the villa.
Nigel and Cassidy bid an emotional farewell as they left the villa. Nigel was upset but believed he could still find his perfect match outside the villa. "I'm just -- I'm sad to go so soon, you know? It wasn't meant to be. Your boy's still an eligible bachelor. So we'll see how things go," he added as he left.
Liv Walker gets into an argument with Nigel Okafur in 'Love Island USA'
Before Nigel was eliminated, he sat down with Liv to ask if she was sure about choosing him in the recoupling. Nigel seemed suspicious due to Liv's body language, but Liv, annoyed by his questions, was in no mood for an explanation and seemed rather annoyed with Nigel's questions.
"It's going to be tough, I feel. Because I feel like you're regretting your decision. I feel like this whole situation right now is definitely, like, making me feel, like, weird, you know?," Nigel said.
"I understand where you're coming from with the fact that you just sent one of your best friends home. I get that, you know? Like, I feel terrible, as well. But I don't want you to feel as if, like, you made the wrong decision because, like, that's just from your body language. Like, that's just the energy you're giving me," Nigel added.
But an annoyed Liv shared in her confessional how Nigel's point of view made her angry. "Literally, what the fuck? That makes me feel a little bit annoyed. They're not easy decisions and how someone reacts in that moment I don't think should be taken to heart," she said.
"I had to make a hard decision. Why are you nitpicking at it now? I just chose you. At the end of the day, I had to make a decision. I never meant to make you feel like that. But I'm not going to put on a face as if everything's fine because it's not. My friend went home. I am upset. It's nothing towards you. Okay?" she added.
