'Love Island': Lakeyn and Bennet voted off as 'least compatible', fans say they were 'robbed' as they are new

Lakeyn Call and Bennett Sipes might be the newest couple on 'Love Island', but this attractive couple has fans convinced that they have way better chemistry than OG islander Carrington Rodriguez and his partner Laurel Goldman. Lakeyn was one of the last new islanders to enter the villa. She immediately turned Carrington's head. For a brief moment, Carrington was so carried away by the many similarities that Lakeyn and he had in common that he contemplated leaving Laurel for her.

But during the recoupling ceremony, he changed his mind and decided to stay coupled up with Laurel, this obviously left Lakeyn feeling very annoyed with him. But luckily for her, Bennett who was at that time partnered with Kierstan Saulter was interested in her, so he ditched Kierstan for her. Lakeyn and Bennett instantly connected and began exploring it further.

Although they didn't spend enough time on the show, fans believe they have a better connection than Carrington and Laurel. In the latest episode, the islanders' had to pick a couple they thought was least compatible and the votes were tied between Carrington-Laurel and Bennett-Lakeyn. Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew got to break the tie with their vote and they voted for Bennett and Lakeyn as they thought that they displayed immature behavior.

Several fans took to their Twitter to point out how Lakeyn and Bennet were 'robbed' just because they were the new couple, as compared to Carrington and Laurel. Y’all know Laurel & Carrington are lasting 2 weeks on the outside #LoveIslandUSA." "Not surprised but bennett and lakeyn were literally robbed #LoveIslandUSA," commented a fan.

Another fan expressed, "Carrington & Laurel were the only ones that didn’t pass the baby challenge, but Lakeyn & Bennett got voted out? Clearly, they just went with who was there longer... #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUSA." "I know Bennett and Lakeyn have been there the shortest amount of time, but I think Carrington and Laurel should be going home. #LoveIslandUSA," shared a fan.
