'Love Island': Johnny slammed for telling Cely a 'watered-down version' of truth about his fling with Mercades

Fans aren't as pleased with Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrook's coupling, as they were prior to Casa Amor. After Casa Amor opened, the boys were sent to stay at the Casa with five new girls, while the girls stayed back at the villa with five new guys. Cely decided to stay loyal to Johnny, despite many new guys expressing their interest in her. Throughout her time at the villa, she kept hoping that Johnny was staying loyal to her too.

Unfortunately for Cely, Johnny couldn't resist his temptation as well as her. On the very first night, he got close to Mercades Schell. The duo kissed each other both during the show's challenges and outside of the challenges too. They even slept together that night, but the following morning Johnny realized that he was in love with Cely and decided to stay single.

During the recoupling, when Cely and Johnny coupled up once again, fans weren't as happy for them. Shortly after their coupling, Johnny revealed to Cely about his brief fling with Mercades. Following which Cely was upset with Johnny and demanded that he give her some space to process the information. Cely eventually forgave Johnny and decided to get past his infidelity. But fans aren't as forgiving as Cely, many of them claimed that they would forgive Johnny only after he told her the truth and revealed about all the advances he made on Mercades.

Another fan wrote, "The fact that Johnny still didn’t tell Cely the whole truth, and still expects her to forgive him. A waking red flag #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUSA." "Johnny just tried to downplay this kissing Sweetie imma only partially forgive you if you be honest... BE HONEST. TELL CELY THE TRUTH #LoveIslandUSA," pointed out a fan.

Many fans slammed Johnny for not being completely honest with Cely. A fan commented, "What kind of watered down version of the truth is this??? Johnny you lying. #LoveIslandUSA." Another fan expressed, "Cely will see the truth when the next voting happens. Thats the only way to open her eyes to Johnny lies because the men will not snitch. Lets send Cely a message girlies. #LoveIslandUSA."
