SUVA, FIJI: In a surprising turn of events, 'Love Island Games' brought together former couples, including Johnny Middlebrooks and Cely Vazquez.
However, their reunion took an unexpected twist when Cely alleged that their breakup was due to Johnny's inability to pay for her nachos.
In response, Johnny took to his Instagram Stories, sharing a screenshot of his bank statement.
He attempted to refute Cely's claims by highlighting a $50 bill made in 2021 at The Cheesecake Factory in Honolulu, Hawaii and humorously added a nachos sticker to the screengrab.
Instead of debunking his ex-girlfriend's claims, Johnny's $50 bill became the target of internet humor as Reddit users trolled him, suggesting that the payment might have been solely for his nachos.
A social media user wrote, "Bet that was just his part of the order." Another person added, "I’m so sure about this too. this is the 50$ he chipped in lol didn’t pay for the whole thing cause it’s too weird it comes out to exactly 50$ and no change."
Another Reddit user explained, "All this screenshot is telling me is either he only paid for himself, or he put up a fight about paying for an appetizer and some drinks. Because $50 including tip is most definitely not enough for an app and 2 entrees at Cheesecake."

However, Johnny added that he knew he would meet in the Peacock show but didn't know what to expect and how Cely would treat the situation.
Cely slammed Johnny noting, "What would you expect based off of how we left things? You run Instagram posting s**t, captioning 'child's play' and all this s**t."
She added, "So to do all that s**t, 'Imma go [on Instagram] Live at 8.00 pm,' blah blah blah."
The Islander continued her rant, "And then talk all this s**t about me, like, instead of calling me and talking to me."
