‘Love (Ft Marriage and Divorce)’, a new Netflix K-drama featuring a star-studded cast including Sung Hoon, Lee Ga-Ryeong, Kim Eung-Soo, Lee Jong-Nam, Park Joo Mi, Jeon Soo Kyung, and more is all set to drop its first episode on January 23. The show will unravel behind the scenes mysteries of three successful women working on a radio show. Before you get too excited about the show, meet the cast here.



 

Plot

The Netflix series ‘Love (Ft Marriage and Divorce)’ written by Im Sung Han famous for TV shows like ‘Miss Mermaid’ and ‘Dear Heaven’, and directed by Yoo Jung-Joon and Lee Seung-Hoon promises a complex and tight-knit storyline revealing layered dynamics of modern-day marriages and what lies behind those happy couple pictures. The three women protagonists in their 30s, 40s, and 50s will encounter unprecedented misfortunes and must find a way out to tackle the various struggles it poses in their lives.

Sung Hoon



 

‘My Secret Star’ famed Sung Hoon, known as the swimming champion athlete who made it big in acting is playing the role of Pan Sa Hyun, a lawyer married to Boo Hye Ryung played by Lee Ga-Ryeong for three years and doesn’t have any children. 

Sung Hoon debuted in acting in 2009 with ‘White Brown's Because I Love You’ but shot to fame with supernatural romance drama, ‘New Tales of Gisaeng’ for which he won the SBS Acting award for the Best New Actor in 2011. The 37-year-old K-drama star has acted over 17 K-drama series including ‘Oh My Venus’, ‘My Secret Romance’, ‘Level Up’, ‘Passionate Love’, and more. Along with his iconic roles in television series, he has also acted in a number of films including ‘Brothers in Heaven’ and ‘Are You In Love’.

Lee Ga Ryeong



 

Lee Ga Ryeong plays the role of Radio producer Boo Hye Ryung married to lawyer  Pan Sa Hyun played by Sung Hoon in a seemingly happy marriage. Ga Ryeong has starred in TV series like ‘The Invincible Lady Cha’ and ‘Apgujeong Midnight Sun’.

Lee Tae-gon

Lee Tae-gon plays the role of Shin Yoo-shin who is the director of a hospital’s neuropsychiatry department married to Sa Pi Young played by Park Joo-mi. The critically acclaimed K-drama actor Tae-gon has acted in over 10 television series and won the 2011 KBS drama Excellence Award for his spectacular role in ‘King Gwanggaeto the Great’ among others.

Park Joo-mi



 

Park Joo-mi plays the role of Sa Pi Young, a radio show producer married to Shin Yoo Shin played by Lee Tae Gon who is the director of a hospital’s neuropsychiatry department. The 48-year-old veteran actress debuted in the acting industry in 1991 and has starred in over 27 television series including ‘Gangnam Beauty’, ‘The Flower in Prison’, ‘Blood’ and more.

Jeon Soo-Kyung

Jeon Soo-Kyung will be acting in the role of Lee Si Eun,a radio show writer and wife for thirty years believes that she has given her all to the marriage. Soo-Kyung is best known for her musical theaters performances along with which the 54-year-old actress has starred in over twenty films and 25 K-drama series including ‘Melting Me Softly’, ‘Love With Flaws’, ‘She Knows Everything’, and more.

Jeon No-min

Jeon Nomin will be starring in the role of Park Hae Ryoon who is the dean of the department of theater and film at Sun Jin University and he turned stones in his career with the support of Lee Si Eun played by Jeon Soo-Kyung. The 54-year-old famous K-drama actor is a house-hold name in South Korea with starring in over 40 television series including ‘Itaewon Class’, ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’, ‘Live On’ and more and films like ‘Sin of a Family’, ‘The Influence’, ‘Welcome’ and more.
