MADRID, SPAIN: Looking to watch Netflix's charming new rom-com, 'Love, Divided'? But curious if the thin wall separating Valentina, the aspiring pianist, and David, the game designer with a serious need for quiet, ultimately becomes a barrier to love.

The film starts with a classic rom-com conflict: mismatched needs and paper-thin walls. Valentina desperately needs silence to practice for her life-changing audition, while David's latest game creation requires complete peace.

Their initial encounters are a bit of a laugh, filled with good attempts to drive each other out – think late-night piano serenades met with earsplitting noise machines.

But amidst the banging and frustration, something unexpected ignites. Limited to whispered conversations through the wall, Valentina and David discover a unique connection built on witty banter, late-night confessions, and a growing trust.

In ' Love, Divided' Valentina's ex, Oscar, enters the picture, creating a spark of jealousy in David. Similarly, David misinterprets a situation with Valentina's friend, leading to a major fight.

These conflicts expose deeper issues – Valentina's lingering dependence on Oscar's musical judgment and David's unresolved grief over a lost love.

The film delves into David's emotional baggage. We learn he was once engaged to Nacho's sister, Maria. Her tragic passing left him heartbroken and isolated, causing him to retreat from the world.

Valentina's audition serves as a turning point for both characters. The judges are unimpressed despite David's attempt to rile her up for a more passionate performance.

This pushes Valentina to finally consider David's encouragement to pursue songwriting, a path previously discouraged by Oscar. She performs her music, finding satisfaction in expressing her true voice.

Valentina confronts Oscar, ending their professional and potentially romantic situation.

While Oscar isn't thrilled, Valentina embraces her newfound confidence. Meanwhile, David, with a nudge from Nacho, overcomes his fear of rejection.

He apologizes to Valentina, revealing his insecurities and his decision to fight for their love.

Valentina accepts David's behavior and forgives him. They both acknowledge the limitations of their wall-divided relationship.

In a symbolic gesture, David takes down the barrier 'the wall', allowing them to see each other face-to-face finally.

The film concludes with their first kiss, signifying the triumph of love over physical obstacles.
