'Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood': Chaos ensues as A1's alleged affair with Summer Bunni leads to a confrontation with his wife Lyrica Anderson
Affairs and showdowns have always been central to VH1's popular reality franchise 'Love & Hip-Hop'. Now on season six of 'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood', record producer A1 Bentley is at the heart of it all. In the previous episode, aired on August 12, we saw blogger Jason Lee dropping the bombshell announcement with the rumor that A1 was cheating on his wife with upcoming rapper Summer Bunni. A1 is married to Lyrica Anderson.
Lyrica and A1 were already experiencing trouble in their marriage. Hence, when the news broke, Lyrica was naturally furious with A1 and Summer. She calls up Jason to get more details about the cheating allegations when Jason reveals that he already talked about it to A1 before breaking the story. He claims that A1 seemed defensive and offended. Lyrica starts seeing red flags and believes that A1 is cheating on her.
A heart-broken Lyrica calls up her friends — Princess Love and Sia — and the girls discuss the couple's troubled relationship. Sia suggests they go to A1's tour and confront him. Summer who just debuted this season received a scary welcome from Apple Watts (Lyrica's friend) as she tries to rough-house Summer.
Later in the episode, Misster Ray, who is a close friend of all the ladies on the show, throws a party and everybody shows up. We see Summer crying over her reputation of being a homewrecker, as Lyrica walks in with Apple. The sneak peek for the next episode showed us an epic showdown between the ladies, with plenty of expletives being thrown around and the ladies being pulled apart as they try to fight each other.
This isn’t the first time that Summer has broken up a marriage. In the past, there have been rumors that Cardi B and Offset split up after it was revealed that Offset was having an affair with Summer and another woman.
On Wednesday, August 14, Summer appeared as a guest on iHeart Radio’s 'The Domenick Nati Show' where she dropped some bombs about the show. She called Lyrica "scary and wack". She went on to add: "If I was her, I'd feel salty like her too if I saw this young, beautiful, talented girl that scooped up your husband… When he never said you were married."
