Lorde did make her fans impatient for four years before finally announcing the details of her much-awaited fourth album ‘Solar Power’. The brand-new full-length project from the singer’s discography will hit the Internet on August 20 with a total of 12 tracks along with two deluxe songs. In order to create hype for the album, the multiple award-winning singer has already released the title track in addition to a song called ‘Solstice’.

Lorde, it seems is also making up for the time she got vanished with a lengthy album tour in spring 2022. Yes, the New Zealand native has announced the album tour for ‘Solar Power’ starting from February to June 2022. Lorde will hit the road and entertain the fans at different venues in North America, New Zealand and Australia. Speaking of her new album, ‘Solar Power’ is a follow-up to her 2017 hit album, ‘Melodrama’, which included chart-topping singles like ‘Green Light’, ‘Perfect Places’ and ‘Homemade Dynamite’.

Dates and venues

Lorde’s album tour will kick off from Christchurch in New Zealand at the Electric Avenue Festival on February 26, 2022, and will conclude in Berlin at Verti Music Hall. Lorde will also make pit stops in cities like Melbourne, Toronto, Portland and Los Angeles among others. The official website of Lorde shared a bright poster of the tour which read, “Turning it on a new kind of bright in 2022.” Here’s how the schedule for Lorde’s newly-announced tour looks like:

Tickets

The sale of tickets for Lorde’s ‘Solar Power’ album tour will commence from June 28, 2021. The official site also states that there is no-pre sale available of the same. MEAWW will keep you posted on further updates.

Line-up

As of now, Lorde has not revealed whether any other artist will be opening up for her not. Since the tour includes a few performances at music festivals, the line-up may vary for different venues. MEAWW will keep you posted on the same.
