Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband Michael Lockwood gets full custody of twins, will live with him
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Following the sudden death of Lisa Marie Presley on January 12, her twin daughters will reportedly live with her ex-husband, Michael Lockwood. Presley and the guitarist had been married from 2006 to 2021 and became parents of Finley Aaron Love and Harper Vivienne Ann.
The pair reportedly had a messy divorce which also affected their custody battle but eventually they were given joint custody of the teenage girls. Now, since Presley is dead, sources told TMZ that the children have decided to live with their father. The outlet reported that “the twins have been living with Michael since Lisa Marie died, and they are comfortable with the new arrangement."

“The family is good with Michael having custody, and the intention is that Riley will continue to have a relationship with her half-sisters. We're also told Priscilla Presley has been spending time with the twins since Lisa Marie's death, so it appears she will also have a presence in their lives,” sources added.
Right after the ‘Lights Out’ singer’s death, there were rumors that her first husband, Danny Keough, may want to get the girls’ full custody. Keough had been living with Presley since their son, Benjamin, died by suicide. During that time, he also spent time with Finley and Harper. However, since in California, “a stepparent would not be entitled to custody of a child unless there was an instance where it was determined to be in the best interest of the child,” Keough cannot get their.
Keough, however, can get visitation permission from the court. The actor is also the biological father of actress Riley.
This comes after Lockwood had expressed his sorrow over Presley's death. He reportedly said, “We are all reeling from the sudden passing of Lisa Marie Presley, the mother of my two beautiful twin daughters Harper and Finley. Nothing prepares us for such an unexpected tragedy. It is incomprehensible.”
“The most important thing to me at this time is to take care of my daughters, making sure they always feel safe and loved. Both of them have incredible spirit and they will carry our family's legacy on for the rest of their lives. Since they were born, Harper and Finley have brought me profound joy and I remain devoted to them. We ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time,” the 61-year-old added.
Priscilla confirmed the death of her and Elvis' only daughter. She reportedly said, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
