Lisa Marie Presley's 'deeply traumatized' twins will not return to Calabasas home where their mom died
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Lisa Marie Presley's 14-year-old twins are reportedly not returning to their mother's Calabasas home where she had her fatal cardiac arrest as they were "too traumatized." Harper and Finley have been staying in their grandmother's LA residence instead, where they are also being looked after by their older sister Riley Keough.
Presley tragically died on January 12 at the age of 54 after she suffered two cardiac arrests. According to TMZ, the twins' father, Michael Lockwood, has been on hand during the difficult time. They lived in their grandmother's home throughout their parents' divorce. Their father tied the knot with celebrity hairdresser, Stephanie Hobgood, in October 2022. The twins were "groom's women" at their father's wedding.

Following Marie's death, Lockwood stated that the girls were with him. "Michael had been hoping for a speedy and complete recovery because her children needed her. It is very sad it didn't turn out that way," Lockwood's spokesman Joe Yanny said, according to Daily Mail, adding, "Michael's world has been turned on its ear. He is with both of his daughters now."

This news broke out after it was disclosed that Graceland, the legendary mansion which once belonged to Elvis and rakes in $56M a year, will go to Presley's three daughters. Presley was earning more than $100M a month from her father's estate and business before her death as she inherited his large fortune at the age of 25.
Presley brought in more than $4,000 a month from the Graceland estate and an estimated $104,000 a month from Elvis Presley Enterprise. In 1957, Graceland, the Memphis, Tennessee estate, was bought by her Mississippi-born father when he was just 22 and had just started to become famous. The 1939 property was sold to the young rocker for $100,000, and on his death in 1977, it passed to his only child.
Presley's mother, Priscilla, who separated from Elvis in 1973, changed the estate into a tourist attraction upon his death, opening it to visitors in 1982. Altogether 3,000 people visited the property the day it was first opened. The grounds now see 600,000 visitors a year making it second only to the White House and the Biltmore Estate in terms of tourist footfall.
People reported that a representative for the Memphis, Tennessee, estate confirmed the property, which is in a trust and was given to Presley following his death in 1977, will benefit her daughters, Riley, 33 and the twins. According to ABC News, a statement revealed that a public memorial service for Presley was set to take place on Graceland's front lawn on Sunday, January 22, at 9am. Presley will be laid to rest at Graceland next to her late son, Benjamin, along with her father and other family members buried at the estate.
