'Limetown': Release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know about the Facebook Watch series

While there is more than over a month left for the series to premiere, here's everything you need to know about Limetown season 1. 

Facebook Watch is set to premiere an all-new series, based on a popular podcast, and you are not going to want to miss it. The fictional podcast, 'Limetown,' was launched in 2015 and consisted of a reporter trying to piece together unsolved mysteries. Now a series based on the podcast has been ordered for a 10 episode season on Facebook Watch. The series features Jessica Biel as the lead actress and executive producer. While there is more than over a month left for the series to premiere, here's everything you need to know about Limetown season 1. 

Release Date

'Limetown' season 1 will premiere on Facebook Watch on October 16, 2019. 

Plot

Limetown season 1 will revolve around radio reporter Lia Haddock. Lia is a journalist for the APR (American Public Radio), and the series will follow her as she unravels the mystery behind the missing of 300 people at a neuroscience research community located in Tennessee. 

Cast

Jessica Biel 

Jessica Biel will be playing the role of Lia Haddock, a radio reporter. Biel is known for her role as Erin Hardesty in the horror film 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. Biel has also starred in other films like 'The Rules of Attraction', 'Blade: Trinity', 'Stealth', 'The Illusionist', 'Valentine's Day', 'The A-Team', 'New Year's Eve', 'Total Recall' and 'Hitchcock'.

Stanley Tucci

Stanley Tucci is an actor, writer, producer, and film director. He is best for his work in 1996's 'A Modern Affair'. Tucci has also received three Emmy Awards. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in 2009's 'The Lovely Bones'. 

Apart from Biel and Tucci, other recurring cast members in the series are Marlee Matlin, Kelly Jenrette, John Beasley, Louis Ferreira, Sherri Saum as Gina, Rekha Sharma as Sadia Latifi and Vera Frederickson as Young Lia.
