What is the plot of 'Lie with Me'?

The French film 'Lie with Me' is based on the book of the same title written by Philippe Besson. 'Lie with Me' is a film based around the themes of love, lust, and old friendships, with the characters trying to grasp the life they have left. 

'Lie with Me' follows the life of Novelist Stephane Belcourt who returns to his hometown after a very long time, and runs and is forced to face memories that he had once left behind, and supposedly moved away from, but never moved on from. 

Belcourt comes to face with the son of the first love he ever had, Thomas Andrieu. 'Lie with Me,' while set in the present, does take the viewers to the past with the assistance of flashbacks, letting everyone catch a glimpse of Belcourt's first love and a beautiful romance.
