Liam Payne is giving fans something a little more personal during the coronavirus lockdown. The 'Midnight' singer has revealed the launching of a new video series on YouTube in which he will share things that are happening in his life every week, things he finds funny and whatever he feels like talking about.

In the first video that he uploaded on Sunday, April 26, titled 'Liam Payne - I’m a living meme! Travis Scott, foodbanks and fun with Alesso', Payne opens by saying, "This is gonna be a little show that I'm putting together for once a week to round up my week for you guys at home." He explains, "It's just gonna be me playing through a bunch of random video clips that happened that week. Some things that I find funny, some things I want to clear up or just talk about."

He also commented, "We're in this lockdown situation, and obviously we're all stuck at home. We can't really go and do anything. But it seems like I've been busier than ever. At the segments of the video, Payne spoke of Travis Scott's virtual Fortnite concert which he described as "unbelievable" and inspired him to "make something." He went on to explain that his friendship with Alesso is "blossoming" and said that Alesso says more funny things offscreen than in public view. Alesso and Payne recently collaborated on 'Midnight'.

It seemed the video was geared more towards Payne's humorous side and he even poked fun at fellow One Direction member Niall Horan, bringing up his earnest instrument-playing face when they video chatted together. "It was a tough moment," he says. "I was panicking. I was worrying. I was saying, 'Niall, can you hear me?' I asked if I was invisible. Could've been." He also referenced his One Direction days and said, "There's a little bit of you that kind of reverts back to when you were in the band. It's a nice moment." The latter half of the video included Payne bringing up several funny clips on the web and memes of himself.

He also pointed fans to the charity Trussell Trust, who work with more than 1,200 food banks in the U.K. to help support those needing aid during the coronavirus pandemic.
