When we first saw Somaya Reece on Season 1 of ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’, she was a struggling artist who lived in an attic and was hated by everybody. Fast forward to a decade later and now the same woman is a successful entrepreneur with millions of dollars in her bank. While fans are thrilled to see her back on the show, they also can’t help but be in awe of how successful she is today.

The OG reality star of ‘LHH’ franchise quit the show after Season 2. We didn’t hear anything about her after she left the show. The ongoing Season 10, brought back the OG stars, including Somaya, who is now the CEO of a popular weight-loss tea brand called Slim Tea. This successful venture of hers managed to make this former broke reality star into a real success. Several fans began tweeting about how impressed they are with her journey by drawing comparisons to her situation in Season 1.

A fan tweeted, “I remember when Chrissy was clowning Somaya shoes & basically speaking down on her during her struggle...LOOK AT HER NOW THO richer than all you h**s and look TF GOOD 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾 #LHHNY.” Another fan wrote, “From rainbow to Versace. Lol but on a serious note somaya’s hustle is very inspiring.  #LHHNY.” “Okay, Somaya!! Do the damn thang then!! Went from staying in an attic, to owning multimillion dollar companies! LIT!! #LHHNY,” echoed another fan.

“Lemme tell you why I respect @Somaya_Reece because she used to call herself Somaya BOSS Reece & she became just that. She took the hard way to beautiful success. It paid off in a major way. She doesn’t need features or shady managers anymore. She got herself on top. #Goals #LHHNY,” explained a fan who is clearly smitten by her impressive growth. Another fan shared, “Seeing @Somaya_Reece makes me happy she truly looks like the boss she has become and i have always loved her #LHHNY.”
