‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’: Fans ask Amara to leave Emjay, as his shady past as a freeloader gets worrisome

Fans are concerned for Amara and believe that he (Emjay) might leave her if her career doesn't take off as expected

Ever since we learned that our melanin-rich queen Amara La Negra was dating Shay Johnson’s younger brother Emjay, fans have been expressing concerns about it. There were way too many red flags for fans to ignore the couple’s relationship. To begin with, Emjay moved in with Amara just after few months of dating and is staying in her house with her mother.
 
Then later we saw him trying to control her career and life, by pressurizing her to fire her manager, Julian Boothe, and then sneakily tried to position himself as her manager. To make things worse, he constantly pressurizes Amara to settle down with him and have his children. Despite her explicitly stating that she wants to focus on her career and isn’t ready to settle down.
 
All this while, fans have been subtly suggesting Amara that maybe Emjay might not be the best fit for her, but after watching the latest episode, and getting the tea on his shady past, they began expressing concerns for Amara. On the latest episode of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’, we are introduced to one of Emjay’s ex Annie, who happens to be PreMadonna’s friend. When PreMadonna tells Annie that she ran into Emjay and Amara, Annie expresses her concern for Amara.

She reveals that Emjay drained her of all her money, and refused to work while they were together, and when the money was gone, he too left her.

Fans couldn’t help but notice that Emjay was doing somewhat similar thing with Amara too by staying with her rent-free and trying to control her career. Fans are concerned that he might leave Amara too high and dry if her career doesn’t take off as expected. A fan tweeted, “I knew EmJay was a scammer  #LHHMIA.” Another fan pointed out, “That’s why Emjay is living with Amara! He’s been eating for free! #LHHMIA.” “I knew Emjay was an opportunist from the VERY first episode. My beautiful sis need to wake up! I knew he was gone try to slide in that manager position too. AMARA RUN!!! #LHHMIA,” advised a concerned fan.
 
Another fan echoed, “Y’all spilling all of the tea on Emjay. Keep on spilling it. I’m here for it. But why would you give him money to fly around and shit. Amara needs to just listen to them and leave him #lhhmiami #LHHMIA.” “Emjay will steal money out of her purse and tear the house up looking for it knowing damn well it’s in his pockets #lhhmiami #LHHMIA,” tweeted a fan. Another fan shared, “I told y'all about Emjay. I know a long con when I see one. Shay know he flaw as hell too. She put him on Amara. #lhhmia.”
