More victims bring PROOF of Le Sserafim's Garam being a bully, fans call it 'scandal of the year'

Fans of K-pop were triggered after new rumors surfaced alleging that Le Sserafim's Kim Garam bullied a classmate for having a mother with a disability

Looks like label HYBE as well as Le Sserafim's Kim Garam are not going to make out of this bullying scandal unscathed because as every new day passes, the controversy keeps intensifying. After the initial report alleged that Kim Garam had bullied one of her classmates as soon as she was introduced as a member of Le Sserafim, HYBE refuted the rumor and claimed that Garam was actually a victim. Not much after, many new alleged victims started surfacing and many photos with lewd hand gestures were released online tainting Garam’s public image.

None of the claims were proved since then and Garam made her debut with Le Sserafim but the group, especially Garam, faced the consequences of the rumor that loomed over Le Sserafim’s debut. Last week, a new revelation took the K-pop industry by storm as a legal firm called Daeryum released their official statement about Garam and HYBE had to put Garam on a hiatus. But K-pop fans did not rest and there have been new developments to the scandal. On May 22, multiple new victims came out to expose Garam as one claimed that Kim Garam bullied her by referencing her disabled mother.

New alleged victims threaten to expose Kim Garam

Each new rumor should be taken with a grain of salt as the new allegation against Kim Garam was released days after HYBE was overlooking fans with disability. A mother of Seventeen’s fans complained that the boy group’s concert titled ‘Be The Sun’ did not provide any information about wheelchair-bound fans having a special entry or exit. Nevertheless, the rumor about Kim Garam is going viral after a new victim stated that Garam passed a mean comment to them in school.

The victim alleged that after bumping into Garam by accident, the idol asked whether they (the victim) were disabled just like their mother (the victim's) was. Another user revealed that there was a lot of evidence against the rookie idol. The user threatened Garam, “If you don't want to get beat up, make sure you bow your head down everywhere you go forever, or else I'll rip your face to shreds.” Soon after that, a classmate of Garam alleged that she was indeed an iljin - a rich school bully.

A second victim said that Garam used to give them and their friends dirty looks while being on the school dance team. Not only that but the alleged victim also claims that Garam bragged about transferring schools because she had assaulted someone in her previous school. More alleged screenshots of KakaoTalk chats with Garam’s responses were released on Nate Pann, the online portal that checked out with one of the new victim's stories.

'Kim Garam is a bully and also an ableist'

While there is no clear resolution to the scandal yet, Garam is spending some time away from her group as she reflects on her past actions that were misconstrued as being rude and takes the time to heal her heart as HYBE’s statement is still firm on the claim that Garam was a victim and not a bully. One fan said, “SOTY (SCANDAL OF THE YEAR) goes to KIM GARAM! To get your prize, please head to jail.” Another fan said, “Kim Garam got a restraining order because she beat a disabled person. Wow, Hybe is debuting women haters and bullies.”

One more fan said, “So supposedly the person kim garam was bullying is disabled?!? so not only is kim garam a bully, but she’s also ableist. and the fact that so many kpop stans are saying that they’re still gonna support her. like kpop stans are truly the s**ttest people alive.” One more fan said, “Removing the bully actually brought out the best of the group????? damn it looks balanced as 5 i hope kim garam doesn't come back.”
