In the previous episode of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’, special education teacher Shadi Seyedyousef took home $250,000, leaving viewers impressed with her powerful performance. Stand-up comedian Ray Romano took the hot seat next to play the game to raise funds for a charity close to his heart. After Romano, yet another commoner Lauren Kuykendall, will contest for the grand prize of $1 million.

The next contestant to appear on ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ is a fire-fighter. The official synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, “Ray Romano plays for the charity Harvest Home and firefighter Lauren Kuykendall takes her shot at the grand prize.”

Not much is known about Lauren’s personal life and we need to wait for the episode to learn more about her and her profession. It also remains to be seen which intellectual friend of Lauren’s would accompany her on the show to extend help and support.

Will Ray Romano win $1 million?

Romano was accompanied by only “smartest-stupidest friend” David Theodosopoulos, who serves as an executive producer on ‘Hot Bench’. The comedian navigated through the first few questions quite effortlessly. But, he was stuck when he was posed with the $32,000 question.

It didn’t take him long to crack the next question which read, “On a map of Europe, there is one country that begins with, and another one that ends with, which of these 3-letter words?” He was quick to go with the second option after sounding sure about Denmark. The episode concluded as Romano went to the next round to play for $125,000.

After his impressive performance, fans took to social media to compliment him. Some noted that he is extremely smart and are looking forward to seeing him make it all the way to the $1 million question.

So far, the founder of Momofuku group, chef and author David Chang is the only celebrity contestant to have won the grand prize. Talking about his big win, he told USA Today in an interview, “I honestly can't believe it happened – I still haven't processed it. It's so insane that I even got to do the show to begin with, but then I am actually mostly in shock that I decided to go for it – what was I thinking?”

‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
