BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Kyle Richards spoke out for the first time about her close friend and fellow housewife Lisa Rinna's exit from the show during an Amazon Live stream. The longtime cast member had been silent since the announcement a few days ago.

Rinna previously had a heated argument with Kyle's sister, Kathy Hilton, after she accused her of insulting Kyle and her family during a recent trip to Aspen. Kyle and Lisa have been friends for a long time, which had the former torn with her loyalties. Now that Lisa Rinna is leaving the show after 8 memorable years, some of her co-stars have sent messages of support, with some also throwing subtle shade by spreading rumors that Rinna wanted Bravo to renew her contract on 'RHOBH.'

While the dispute with Rinna led Kathy to expect support from her sister, the 54-year-old had chosen to remain silent on the situation. Fans might have expected a similar reaction to Lisa's exit. However, the event was too much to keep quiet about.

During a recent podcast episode of 'Cozy Comforts' on Amazon Live, Kyle explained that she would miss Rinna. “I felt a need to post something about Rinna going back to the good times because we did have a lot of amazing times on the show over these years and Lisa brought a lot to the show in her 8 years of being on. Regardless of what happened last year, regardless of that she brought a lot to the show and I am choosing to think about and remember her for that. Even though that also makes me sad. Anyway, it’s very strange to see she is gone I am not someone who likes change.” While Kyle initially chose to remain diplomatic in this situation, it's clear where her loyalties lie.

When asked by a fan whether she will miss Lisa, she had the following to say, “Yes I will. And don’t @me because she fought with my sister and all that, you know what guys, I can put those situations in different boxes and yes, I am going to miss her.”

In a statement, Rinna said that it had been the longest job of her 35-year career and that she is grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

Rinna and Bravo mutually agreed that she would leave when her contract expired at the end of Season 12. Her husband, Harry Hamlin, supported her decision, saying she had taken the show as far as she could and now it was time to move on. Rinna was a polarizing presence on the show, and reactions to her exit were also mixed. Gretchen Rossi claimed Lisa had had a wonderful time, while Lisa Vanderplump seemed quite pleased with the announcement.
