Kyle Richards reveals she had to 'take a step back' since the 'RHOBH' reunion, here's why
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: With the filming for Season 13 of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' underway, Kyle Richards has revealed that she has consciously stepped back from her castmates since shooting the reunion for Season 12 in September. The reality star is apparently taking a more mindful approach to her relationships with her co-stars.
After shooting the Season 12 of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' in 2022, Kyle revealed that she had to take a break from the show. Although she distanced herself from the cast, she kept in touch with certain members of the show, including co-stars Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Dorit Kemsley. “Have I been hanging out with the girls?” repeated Kyle when asked the question. She added, “I’ve had to take a step back since the reunion.”

“I talk to, on text with Garcelle, with Sutton. Rinna has sent me some messages. Dorit, I talk to obviously, but I haven’t hung out with anybody really,” she admitted. Kyle also added, “This last season really was not fun for me. Not at all. And I really needed to take a step back … I’ve been doing my own thing and not seeing a lot of people.” In the Season 12 reunion of 'RHOBH' Kyle was caught in a blazing feud with her sister Kathy Hilton. When asked how often she talks to the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host and Bravo star Andy Cohen, Kyle noted, “We text all the time.”
Kyle also discussed Lisa Rinna’s exit from ‘RHOBH’ and noted that the star is “irreplaceable.” She said, “I don’t like to say ‘replace,’ because, you know, she’s irreplaceable. Everyone brings something different to the table.” Adding that Lisa was great, Kyle noted, “Lisa was great on the show, so it would just be somebody else who is hopefully great. But I don’t like to say ‘replace’ her, because there’s no replacing people.”
