The Kardashians returned with the much-awaited season 17 on September 8. The premiere episode was certainly high on emotions. From making us feel sad for Kourtney when she cried her eyes out about feeling lost and having nothing figured as she’s approaching her 40th year to leaving us in splits with the classic Kardashian over-reaction to a trivial situation.

In the premiere episode, we saw Kim at her comic best, when she discovered a bald patch on Kourtney’s head. The good sister that Kim is, she immediately started freaking out and began frantically clicking pictures of Kourtney’s bald spot while urging her to see a doctor immediately.

Kim’s over-the-top reaction “Omg I’m afraid for your life. Kourtney, you’re bald, you have to go to the hospital” had us all rolling with laughter. A fan wrote, “I have cried actual tears 3 times today laughing at Kim telling Kourtney to go to the hospital for her bald spot 😭 #KUWTK”. Kourtney then launched into an explanation about how she got the bald spot. She revealed that she has had it ever since sporting a super-tight high ponytail for an event in New York. Kourtney and Kim then make it a rule that their hairstylists cannot do high ponytails for the sisters.

In case you’re wondering about what Kourtney did next after discovering her bald spot, she took her sister’s advice and rushed to her beloved plastic surgeon, Dr. Jason Diamond, and got her own plasma injected into her scalp to stimulate hair growth. Fans had quite a reaction to watching the needles being pricked into her scalp. A fan tweeted, “Watching the Kardashian’s and kourtney got her blood spun to take her plasma and inject it into a bald spot in the middle of her head dumbest shit. #KUWTK”. Kourtney’s revelation about her tight ponytail resulting in the bald spot has fans rethinking their own hairstyles, as a fan commented, “Kourtney going bald in the first episode of #kuwtk is really making me rethink my 3 hair ties and scrunchie skin tightening ponytails”.

Fans feel that Kim’s reaction to Kourtney’s bald spot was the best part of season 7. As a fan wrote,” KimKardashian reaction to Kourtney’s bald spot was/will be the highlight of this season of #KUWTK”.
