‘KUWTK’ fans were really looking forward to watching the infamous Kimono controversy unfold on the show’s episode 8, which aired on November 3. The earlier sneak peek for the episode showed the Kimono drama playing out with Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick discussing how many shapewear pieces they manufactured, etc.

Unfortunately, fans were left disappointed because the latest episode showed the photoshoots and infomercials shot announcing the launch of Kimono- Kim’s shapewear range. When Kim initially came out with her shapewear line and named it Kimono, she received immense backlash for cultural appropriation. Finally, the reality mogul changed the name of her shapewear range from Kimono to SKIMS.

Fans will have to wait until the next episode to see what exactly happened to Kimono. The preview clip for the next episode shows Kim saying that she received a letter from the Mayor of Kyoto and also addressing all the backlash. Fans aren’t happy as they are being made to wait to see what they have all been eagerly waiting for.

A fan tweeted, “Y’all really had me wait an entire episode just to find out that the kimono controversy and sister fight are happening NEXT week? The nerve. #KUWTK”. Another fan wrote, “This whole episode they’ve been previewing the drama surrounding “Kimono” only to tell us to tune in next week #KUWTK”. “E! Did false advertisement... I thought we were talking about kimono this week ...#KUWTK”, pointed out a fan.

We certainly can’t wait for the upcoming episode of KUWTK to watch the Kimono drama and the much-awaited fight between Kim and Kourtney about their daughters’ birthday plans. While Kim is keen on having a candy-land themed party with loads of sugary treats, Kourtney isn’t too keen on it as it isn’t healthy. We see Kim snapping at her sister saying, “It is candy-land themed party not gluten-free land”.
