The joint birthday party celebrations for North West and Penelope Disick, became a bone of contention for the girls’ mothers: Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. The kids decided that they wanted Candyland themed party and Kim wanted to go all out and have candy decorations and loads of candies and sugary treats freely flowing at the party. Kourtney who is well-known for her affinity towards clean-eating and “gluten-free” diet was obviously not on board with Kim’s idea.

Kourtney kept telling Kim that she didn’t want candies at the part which according to her were disgusting and filled with sugar. But Kim feels that the party isn’t about her but for their children and if the kids want candies they get it. After some classic sisterly bickering, Kourtney eventually comes around and reluctantly agrees to her sister’s plan of the party being filled with unlimited candies.

On the day of the party we see all the children having sugar rush, and Kim revealed that she went around to every parent at the party apologizing to them for causing sugar-rush in their child. Kourtney’s children, however, didn’t even touch a piece of candy at the party and were all fine. By the end of the party, Kim admits that they should have just stuck to candy décor and not had so many candies at the party.

Fans were completely on Kourtney’s side for standing up against unhealthy food and ensuring that her children didn’t indulge in any of the “junk food”. A fan tweeted, “I applaud @kourtneykardash for teaching her children about healthy eating choices not many children out there like healthy foods. #KUWTK”. Another fan wrote, “@kourtneykardash proud of you sticking up to junk food many parents need lessons for you kids today have way too much candy these days #KUWTK”.

Another fan expressed, “Genuinely can’t believe how many people have a problem with @kourtneykardash encouraging healthier food for her kids. no wonder the child obesity rate is so high #kuwtk”. “How do you actually argue with someone who wants kids to eat healthy (yet still delicious) food?! I am so sick of the hate--it makes no sense!!! You're so angry and annoying @KimKardashian @khloekardashian I love you @kourtneykardash #kuwtk”, shared a fan. Another fan pointed out, “Love it Kourtney. You are 100% right. Having a combination was the way to go. Just because it’s a candy land party , doesn’t mean all junk food. I think candy land and I think colourful theme party. Willy Wonka style.#KUWTK”.
