Inside Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's SHOCK wedding: Couple wore Grammys outfits, spent less than $800
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker reportedly got married in a secret ceremony at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas at 1:30 am on Monday, April 4, hours after the Grammy Awards. In a video obtained by Daily Mail, the newlyweds arrived back at their hotel around 2.30 am after exchanging vows in front of an Elvis impersonator.
The 42-year-old reality television star was apparently drunk and stumbling while her 46-year-old musician kept an arm around her. "Is there a better way to go in?" Travis asked a security guard. As per TMZ, the couple brought their own photographer and security as they walked into the One Love Wedding Chapel. It was apparently important to them that an Elvis impersonator officiate the wedding, and according to reports, this will not be the only ceremony to mark the couple's commitment as 'several' other celebrations are planned for the future.

Elvis impersonator
The celebrity couple reportedly demanded an Elvis impersonator perform their wedding ceremony and refused to come to the venue until the same was confirmed. "I didn't know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were," One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson told People. "They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis, They showed a lot of love and had a lot of fun. There was a lot of kissing and hugging. They barely came up for air! They just seemed totally in love," he said about the 30-minute long ceremony.
He further revealed that their wedding party consisted of four people and said, "They all had iPhones, taking pictures and videos from every angle. I don't know if they were the friends or their social media team. They filmed everything from the time they walked in, to the time they walked out. The vows, the kiss, the rose bouquet toss, the dancing. I usually take pictures for the chapel but they wanted to handle it all themselves."
Did Kourtney wear a wedding dress?
Reports say Kourtney and Travis did not stop to buy traditional wedding garb and instead chose to straight-up marry in the 'fits they wore to the Grammys'. “They were dressed with what they had on at the Grammys,” Frierson said.
In pictures that emerged from the night that the couple reportedly wed, Kourtney is sporting the same cutout jumpsuit that she wore on the red carpet hours earlier. She, however, added a black leather jacket with silver studded detailing at the back. Travis was also in the Grammy outfit, except he ditched his statement hot pink jacket for a black leather jacket with the message "WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT A**HOLE?" at the back.
Just a 'fun' wedding
The couple did not get their marriage license before their secret Las Vegas ceremony, according to media reports. A source at the chapel where they had the ceremony said they'd only perform it with a marriage license, but a source close to Kourtney and Travis revealed they hadn't gotten a license, which wouldn't make it legal, reports TMZ. A source close to the stars also told the media that the event was held "just for fun” and not yet official.
Wedding budget
The celebrity couple spent just $800 on their Las Vegas wedding — including an extra fee for an Elvis impersonator. Chapel owner Frierson told the Sun they selected the chapel's $199 package, which included the $75 minister fee, choice of love songs, silk rose bouquets, and a toast for two — declining a video and photographs. "They paid extra for Elvis, I can't say how much we pay him but it was about $800 in total, and we had two rose bouquets left, they decided to buy both of them," Frierson said.
"They didn't really speak to us, they were whisked in and we kept our distance, they were laughing the entire time they were here, and stopped to kiss before heading into the chapel."
Kourtney and Travis got engaged in October 2021 when the musician went down on one knee at a beachside in Montecito, California surrounded by candles and rows of roses shaped like a heart. Kardashian posted images from the proposal on her Instagram captioned, "Forever @travisbarker," and "I woke up all night thinking it was a dream." The two were friends for a decade, before they began dating at the end of 2020, and went Instagram official after Valentine's Day 2021. This marriage would be Kourtney's first and Travis's third. Kourtney and her former longtime boyfriend Scott Disick have three children: 12-year-old Mason, 9-year-old Penelope, and 7-year-old Reign. Travis, on the other hand, has a 16-year-old daughter, Alabama, and an 18-year-old son, Landon with his former wife, Shanna Moakler. He also raised 23-year-old Atiana De La Hoya, who is Moakler's daughter with her former boyfriend, Oscar De La Hoya.
