Kourtney Kardashian confirms she's not pregnant as fans mistake her curves for baby bump: 'I embrace my body'
The Kar-Jenner clan has grown dramatically in the past few years with all the sisters except for Kendall Jenner turning mothers. The eldest of them all and mother of four, Kourtney Kardashian, on Wednesday (May 13) shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram, flaunting her curves in a burgundy bikini. In one of the pictures, she’s seen lying on her holding a book in hand, putting her bare tummy on display which looked slightly bulged.
The picture grasped the attention of fans in no time with one of them speculating that the reality star was pregnant with the fourth child. The comment was met with hundreds of responses that tried to point out the reality star was in fact pregnant.
It isn’t the first time that she has been rumored to be expecting a baby, especially knowing how she surprised the world with the birth of her three children — Mason, Penelope and Reign — all of whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.
When one fan wrote in bold ‘SHE’S PREGNANT’, Kourtney quickly responded to that saying, “This is me when I have a few extra pounds on, and I actually love it. I have given birth three amazing times and this is the shape of my body.”
A video accessed by the Daily Mail, she provided further clarification on the hearsay and even criticized social media users for always validating a woman’s body. She says, “I posted a few pictures the other day and everyone was like ‘are you pregnant? baby number four? Pregnant, pregnant. You know, I couldn’t take that offensively and really been like ‘oh my god, am I pregnant?’. Instead, I knew, in my opinion, I didn’t look pregnant.”
“I’ve been pregnant three times before and I know what my body looks like when I am pregnant and to me, it’s very feminine to have curves and I embrace my body," she added.
In the same video, she also shares that she liked one of the comments about her body looking “extra curvy” as she’s witnessed enough criticism from online towards everybody.
