Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are all set to embark on a new journey as the duo has got officially engaged. Yes, the Blink-182 drummer popped the big question to his lady love over the weekend and made sure the occasion was as romantic as possible. Travis Barker put a ring on their relationship as he went down on one knee on Sunday, October 17, at a beachside hotel in Montecito, Santa Barbara.

Kourtney, who has been linked with Travis since late 2020, of course, said yes as they hugged and leaned for a smooch to mark the special occasion, as reported by TMZ. The reality star further made it official when she shared two pictures of them on her official Instagram account. She captioned the post as, “forever” tagging his musician boyfriend in the post. Kourtney and Travis were first linked in 2018 after their fans suspected the two were in a relationship when they were seen grabbing dinner in Los Angles. However, the two had denied the affair back then.

Minutes after Kourtney shared the pictures on her Instagram, Travis, who enjoys close to six million followers on Instagram, reshared her post on his stories. To make the occasion memorable, Travis laid out an elaborate floral arrangement right on the sand along with huge candles placed around it. While Kourtney looked stunning in a black outfit, Travis opted for a casual striped tee teamed up with black denim.  Shedding light on the same, an eyewitness told E! News that the proposal took place at 6:30 pm, and that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson too were present when Travis proposed to her. “Kourtney looked very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there. Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart.”
 
The insider continued, “It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel."  For the unversed, this will be the very first time when Kourtney will be walking down the aisle. Travis and Kourtney have been very open about their relationship as they keep their fans updated with fresh pictures of their outings. The couple also grabs headlines for packing the PDA on different occasions. Kourtney earlier dated Scott Disick from 2005 to 2015 but never said ‘YES’ to him for marriage despite him proposing with a ring.

Social media users were in for a surprise after the news of Travis and Kourtney getting engaged hit the Internet over the weekend. “Scott is shaking and crying in the arms of his teenage girlfriend somewhere”, quipped one user as another tweeted, “I honestly love this for her. she’s the best out of the kardashians & she deserves happiness even if she is out of his league.” One user stated, “omg too fast, but I’m so happy for kourt!”

The next one shared, “I knew this was gonna happen! Called it months ago. I'm so happy for her. Scott try and be supportive.” One individual noted, “Kourtney Kardashian really got engaged to Travis barker even tho Scott Disick proposed about 600 times to her and she always said no to his a**.” While, another chimed in and concluded, “Ever since travis barker got on a plane for kourtney I’ve been rooting for them this is actually so cute.”
