'Ultimate cringe': Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick slammed for posting video in support of drag queens
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'They/Them' actor Kevin Bacon has added his name to the growing number of celebrities who are speaking out in support of drag queens. The 64-year-old released a video of himself and Kyra Sedgwick getting down on Twitter in support of the ACLU's campaign against prohibitions on drag queens.
Actors' Equity Association (AEA) is taking part in the legal battle against Tennessee's "Drag Ban." Early in March, Governor Lee signed this bill into law; it prohibits "adult cabaret entertainment" on public land and in places where it might be seen by minors. Additionally, it extends the definition of "adult cabaret entertainment" to include "male or female impersonators," as per LV.

'Ultimate Cringe'
Bacon is now cruelly ridiculed for his admiration of drag queens after the video has received over one million views and thousands of comments. A user tweeted, "That’s bizarre to say." Another user wrote, "So glad I’ve given up Hollywood movies." A user shared the video and called it "Ultimate Cringe." One user shared his opinion saying that the ban only applies to youngsters. He wrote, "No one is banning drag shows. They're just banning them from being performed in front of children, & rightly so." A person mentioned, "Cringe! You just lost me Kevin, how disgusting." Another person remarked, "Hey Kevin, why don’t you start auditioning for roles made for women? I mean, men are taking everything else away from us under the drag banner, might as well add acting roles to the list." "You do know they are only banning them in front of children right," claimed another user.
