Katie Holmes is a sight for sore eyes in jeans, black turtleneck and blazer during an outing in NYC

'She's very, very talented’
This outing comes a couple of days after Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, were spotted at LAX on Tuesday, April 25. In the photos, Crusie looked like a spitting image of her mother. In the photos, Crusie was the same height as Holmes.
Holmes had recently revealed that Cruise recorded a rendition of 'Blue Moon' for her movie 'Alone Together', which she wrote, produced and starred in. "She's very, very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it and I let her do her thing," Holmes told Yahoo! Entertainment.
"That's the way I direct in general. This is what I think we all want - go do your thing," Holmes reportedly said. ‘Blue Moon’ holds a particular place in their hearts, according to Holmes, who revealed to the publication that 76-year-old Diane Keaton, who performed the song in the 2014 film 'And So It Goes', met Cruise when she was one.
'I’m such a fan of yours’
Holmes was seen catching up with Drew Barrymore on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ last week. She was seen sporting a pale gray jacket over a white T-shirt, two-toned silver studded pants and pointed silver shoes.
Speaking to Barrymore, Holmes stated that she was a great fan of the talk show host, calling her an "inspiration" in her profession. Holmes stated that she realized she could make movies after the ''Ever After' actress started doing so. 'Never Been Kissed', 'Charlie's Angels', 'Duplex' and 'Fever Pitch' are some of the movies Barrymore produced.
"I’m such a fan of yours and everything that you’ve done in your career has been an inspiration and it gives me confidence because when you started producing it was like, 'Oh we can do that? Women can do that?'" Holmes said, adding, "And so thank you, you give so much."
