British actress and comedian Katherine Ryan is returning to Netflix this July for her second stand-up comedy special.

'Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room' is her second standup special after her 2017 successful special 'In Trouble'. Ryan is a single mom who is known for her humor on the Kardashians and her storytelling. Here's everything you need to know about the standup special before it releases on Netflix:

'Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room' will release on Netflix on July 1, 2019. 

Plot

'Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room' features Ryan's tour across the UK that includes a four-week run at London's Garrick Theatre that had to be extended due to demand. Apart from the four-week tour, the show was also taped in December at The Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. Taking to Instagram, Ryan disclosed what her show is about: "Glitter Room is about buying my first home with my daughter and all the renovations builders who felt sad for us because I wanted a rose gold kitchen and wasn't married."

Host 

Katherine Ryan is a Canadian-Irish comedian, writer, presenter, and actress, based in the UK. Ryan hosted an all-female version of Channel 4's '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown'. She also fronted the UK version of 'How’d You Get So Rich'. Ryan also hosted 'The Stand Up Show' with Katherine Ryan for The Comedy Network in Canada that will be released this year. She will also star in Netflix's forthcoming 10 part panel series 'The Fix' with host Jimmy Carr and another regular panelist D.L Hughley. She is also the executive producer for her second stand-up special 'Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room'.
