Kang Daniel is not here to play. The latest released posters of the singer’s upcoming comeback project ‘Paranoia’ has raised the heartbeats of fans with some dark aesthetics and the stark color contrast of red and black only depict the boldness that Kang Daniel promises to bring with it.

Kang Daniel has been reigning the music charts in South Korea along with garnering international attention with his clever concepts and to die for vocals in every new EPs. The former member of K-pop group Wanna One formally launched her solo music career in 2019 and proved his music realm from the first EP ‘Color on Me’ which charted the highest first-day and first-week physical sales for a solo artist in South Korea’s Hanteo chart.

Moving forward, it also topped the Gaon Album Chart. Later, his color series EP continued with ‘Cyan’ and ‘Magenta’ which also topped the Korean Gaon Album Chart with the former's title track earning Kang his first top ten single in Korea.

Concept

Speaking of the ‘comeback’, Kang Daniel has shared to a publication that this album is partly autobiographical as it will have elements from his personal life. He stated,  “I want to show myself as a real artist. It’s about the anguish required to become a serious artist. A lot of my own thoughts and worries have been incorporated into the comeback and there will be a lot of sincere stories. It will be about one part of the person called ‘Kang Daniel”, Soompi reported.
