KAMP LA 2022: Concert date, tickets and all about lineup starring EXO Kai, Monsta X, Bambam
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: With K-pop going global, California is at the forefront of bringing the Hallyu Wave to American fans. We first had Coachella turning into a mini K-pop festival as the 2022 edition roped in the likes of CL and 2NE1, GOT7’s Jackson Wang, aespa, BIBI, Epik High and more. And now, we are getting the first official Californian K-pop music festival, KAMP LA 2022 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in October. And the lineup is as star-studded as possible from second-gen icons Super Junior to currently popular acts EXO’s Kai, Monsta X and GOT7’s Bambam.
On August 16, KAMP Global, a music events organization announced that they would be making history by creating an immersive K-pop experience for LA and Californian fans with the launch of KAMP LA 2022 co-hosted by Eventim Live Asia. It should be noted that the Rose Bowl Stadium was last a K-pop venue in 2019 for BTS’ ‘Love Yourself’ world tour. With a 90k-seating capacity, the venue is home to the football team UCLA Bruins and held two FIFA finals and five Super Bowl games. Meanwhile, stars like Beyonce and Taylor Swift have had concerts there. Well, here’s everything we know about KAMP LA 2022.

KAMP LA 2022 is a 2-day event and will take place on October 15 and 16 from 5 pm PDT onwards.
Venue
KAMP Los Angeles 2022 will take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California.
Where to buy tickets
Fans can register for the pre-sale by August 18 at 7 pm PDT on Arep. The presale of tickets begins on August 19 from 10 am PDT onwards. The general ticket sale will begin at a later date. The presale access costs $179. The benefits include -- two backstage meet & greet passes, two VIP tickets which include complimentary gifts, a KAMP LA 2022 limited edition merch bundle, a signed photocard of an artist from the lineup, and two general audience tickets.

KAMP has held K-pop music festivals in the past. Right before the pandemic, their last event was KAMP Singapore 2019 in Singapore. The lineup consisted of popular, as well as rising stars, like Super Junior, GFriend, NCT 127, Chungha, WJSN, Stray Kids and more. In 2020, they went online with the ‘Dear Tomorrow’ virtual concert. The lineup had consisted of Momoland, A.C.E, AleXa, Bvndit and more. Along with the performances, KAMP LA 2022 includes other events like arts, food and gaming segments.
