The release of the highly-anticipated and elusive Snyder Cut of 'Justice League' is all set to release in 2021.  With director Zack Snyder already ringing in the changes, there have been developments on movie information sites such as IMDb as it has dedicated a page exclusively for the Snyder Cut. The changes are obvious when compared to the 'Justice League' page as only Snyder and Chris Terrio feature in the writing credits.

The biggest reveal is the almost definite introduction of Darkseid in the Snyder Cut. Ray Porter was slated to play the iconic DC villain, but he was removed from the final version. This all but proves that Darkseid's introduction was always on the cards. The rest of the cast seems to be credited as well. Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Amy Adams' Lois Lane, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, Jeremy Irons' Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane's Martha Kent and Ciarán Hinds' Steppenwolf. However, there is no hint of either the Martian Manhunter or Green Lantern.

Fans have speculated that either of the characters will be part of the film, but for now this theory seems to have taken a backseat. The most important news at the moment for fans is that they will get a chance to witness the famed and mysterious Snyder cut, for which post-production is already underway. Snyder and his wife, Deborah are already working on re-assembling the original post-production crew to finish up the project.

"I want to thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of supporting artistes and allowing their true visions to be realized. Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the SnyderCut movement for making this a reality," said Snyder in a press release.

For those who still don't know what this is all about, the cut refers to Snyder's original edit of the film which was shelved when he and his wife Deborah Snyder stepped away from the project following a family tragedy. Joss Whedon, the 'Avengers' writer-director was roped in to wrap up reshoots and production. The film though was a damp squib and left fans unhappy with the final version of the film.

The Snyder Cut releases on HBO Max in 2021.
