'Just died laughing': Fans notice NSFW innuendo in 'Wheel of Fortune' bonus prize winner’s letter choice

CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: In the Wednesday episode of ‘Wheel of Fortune’, contestant Danielle Brooker unknowingly became the cause for many fans’ delight. Brooker won her way through to the bonus prize round where she chose the letters D, K, C and I. The contestant was busy solving the puzzle while the fans were soon able to figure out the innuendo. 

Brooker was able to collect a whopping sum of $73,900 with her interesting choice of letters. She later celebrated her win with her husband and her mom who were present in the audience.

Phrase made the innuendo ‘wilder’

While the set of letters chosen by Brooker was already funny enough, it got even better after the contestant correctly guessed the phrase. Using the letters didn’t give her much of a hint for the puzzle _ILD ____T IT. The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat Sajack commented, “It’s challenging but I wouldn’t put it past her.” 

It didn’t take longer than 2 seconds for Brooker to guess the phrase as “Wild about it.” The viewers were quick to do the math and build on the already existing innuendo while the Chicago-based accounting professor was busy celebrating her big win.

Many fans took to twitter to react to Brooker’s hilarious win. One user repeated the incident saying, “Just died laughing watching The Wheel of Fortune. Lady picked the letters D,K,C and I…..the puzzle ended up being 'Wild About It.'” Another one said, “Yoooo her letters were D I C K and the puzzle's answer was 'Wild about it.'”



 



 

It was also revealed that Brooker is an accounting professor at Loyola University in Chicago. She was also congratulated by the university in a tweet that said, “We are so proud of our Accounting Professor Danielle Booker and her victory on Wheel of Fortune tonight! As she said during the episode, accounting is fun and the language of business.” Another user appreciated her saying, “What a @WheelofFortune showing by Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business Prof. Danielle Booker! Won the game, won the bonus round, won more than $73k, and promoted accounting as “the language of business” on the show.”
