Julia Roberts rocks signature pinstripe suit look as she shows up at NYC's Jazz at Lincoln Center
LINCOLN CENTER, NEW YORK CITY: Julia Roberts' penchant for pinstripe ensembles has been well-documented for years and has never let her down. Every time she effortlessly wears a pinstripe look, the world stops and all eyes are on her. Her look for the recent trip to Jazz At Lincoln Center is the latest addition to the list of iconic suit suits worn by the actor.
The beaming 'Money Monster' actress was seen without her husband Daniel Moder who likes to keep a low profile and to whom she has been happily married since 2002. Moder and Roberts have three children together - Hazel, Henry, and Phinnaeus. Her latest move on the work front was the romantic comedy 'Ticket to Paradise' with George Clooney. She has also signed on to play Martha Mitchell in the television series 'Gaslit.'

For the performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Roberts wore a white shirt and gray striped vest. She paired it with a mini pencil skirt that matched the vest and a tie that was also perfectly coordinated. She wore an oversized blue coat with ombre yellow highlights and had her brown curls in waves. With that, she wore black hold-up stockings and a pair of black boots. Her makeup was also simple and elegant.
This look joins a long line of Roberts' suit-and-trunk looks from years past, dating back to her Golden Globes win for 'Steel Magnolias' in the '90s - when she wore a bold-shouldered gray suit by Giorgo Armani and a navy print tie, according to Vogue. That was the beginning of her power-suit journey, which is now a staple. She also accepted her Golden Globe for Pretty Woman in a pinstripe skirt suit. She has also played with the suit and created sexy looks out of it - at the People's Choice Awards in 2002, she appeared in a black suit with nothing on underneath, also wearing a toe ring for the occasion.
Roberts has also managed to turn something as formal and regal as a suit into a casual outfit for a day out. Her pinstriped look at Lincoln Center is the most recent of these, but her suit from Thom Browne is now remembered as one of her most creative fashion moments. She wore the sleeves rolled up to the elbows and paired them with knee-length tailored shorts.
Given Roberts' love for suits and pinstripes, we can expect to see many more looks like these in the future.
