'Embarrased' Julia Fox opens up on brother’s arrest and drug charges, says he 'internalized his rage'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Julia Fox was spotted on March 15, for the very first time since her brother, Christopher Fox, was detained on drug and weapon charges in Manhattan earlier this month. The 30-year-old 'Uncut Gems' actress, who co-signed for her 30-year-old brother Christopher's $450,000 bond, was spotted in Los Angeles while going to the grocery shop. The actress broke her silence on the incident in an emotional Tik Tok video the following day she was spotted in LA.
Since the disastrous raid on the apartment her brother and father occupied, the actress has maintained a relatively low profile. During the early-morning raid on March 8, police claim to have found untraceable "ghost guns," bomb-making materials, and signs of drug production, Daily Mail reported.

'My brother and I have a lot of trauma'
The actress claimed in her TikTok video that her brother "internalized his rage" but labeled him as "sweet and kind." She explained, "I know my brother and I’ve always known him to be like — I’m not kidding, you guys — the sweetest, most gentle, kind, soft-spoken, loves animals, loves to plant flowers, has a green thumb, loves nature but I will say that my brother and I have a lot of trauma and the difference is that I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter and I threw my aggression and was able to release that rage."
She claimed that her brother Christopher "internalized" his anger as opposed to her. Despite his incarceration, she added that he is "finally going to get the help that I’ve been trying to get him for so long," so this is at least a benefit, as per Page Six.
She continued, "I wish I could say more but I don’t want to damage his case or anything like that but I will say that I’m just embarrassed," as she nervously laughed to end her video.
In the video, Julia, 33, also mentioned that her father, Thomas Fox, was released from jail the same day he was arrested and that it is believed that he is not involved in her brother's affairs.
What happened to Julia's brother?
At her brother Christopher's trial, the prosecutors claimed that authorities found several 3D-printed machine gun parts as well as high-capacity ammunition magazines, a pistol and ammunition that was unauthorized, and several gun silencers that were developed. A substantial sum of cash, fentanyl, a pill press, pressure cookers, heroin, chloroform, propane, formaldehyde, and explosive materials were also found in the residence.
Christopher allegedly used his CashApp account from April 2020 to January 2023 to cash out on around $345,000 in illegal firearms purchases. Officers discovered phantom firearms, bomb-making supplies, and indications of drug manufacturing during the 6 a.m. raid on March 8 in connection with Christopher's previous two sealed arrests. Together with the illegal items, there were expensive wine bottles worth thousands of dollars.
According to sources who spoke to New York Post at the time, Julia was away from the area when the raid took place and is not considered to have been aware of her brother's alleged offenses. The fashion star was shocked and devastated to learn of the arrest, as per Julia's friends, who later spoke with Page Six.
