'This is an issue with men': Julia Fox defends Kim Kardashian amid Balenciaga scandal in bizarre video
Julia Fox defended Kim Kardashian as the star is being pressured to cut ties with Balenciaga after the brand put up images of children carrying teddy bears in bondage in an ad campaign. Fox, 31, who had briefly dated Kardashian's ex Kanye West, defended Kardashian via a bizarre video on TikTok where she appeared to be naked. In the clip, Fox slammed the "pushback on female stars associated to the brand" and declared "men are the issue".
Julia Fox's video comes hours after Kardashian broke her silence and denounced the brand. In the video captioned, "Respectfully I’ve never cashed a balenci check so pls keep me tf out it thanks!", Fox said, "I'm seeing a lot of comments and tags, so first things first, I am not their spokesperson. I have zero relationship with the brand, I've never even been to one of their shows. they haven't invited me... Regardless, I think it’s horrific and when I was reading and watching all the videos I literally felt sick to my stomach."

She added, "But I couldn’t help but think, damn, the women who are associated to the brand professionally are getting so much pushback, it’s almost as if they’re the f*****g child molesters." She wrote over the screen, "Why are women being blamed for a MAN'S mistake? It’s the internalized misogyny for me."
Fox captioned another video, "But everyone loves pointing the finger at everyone BUT the man", and said in it, "You guys love saying Hollyweird, all the pedophiles in Hollyweird...Listen up f***faces, there's pedophiles in every industry! You wanna go be a chef, there's probably some abusers over there, you wanna be a teacher? Abusers over there, you wanna be an engineer, abusers over there. This isn't an issue with Hollywood, this isn't an issue with the fashion world, this isn't an issue with celebrities, this is an issue with men goddamnit, men, men!"

Meanwhile, Balenciaga has filed a $25 million lawsuit against the producers whose ad campaign showing children holding teddy bears in BDSM gear sparked controversy. The ad was reportedly meant to promote the company's spring collection. The Spain fashion house is now suing North Six Inc, and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins and his own brand. The company has accused them of including images of legal documents on the US Supreme Court's decision on child pornography laws.
Balenciaga accused North Six and Des Jardins of purposely including the judicial records in the ad without informing its executives. The company described the act as "malevolent, or at the very least, extraordinarily reckless". A summons from the Manhattan Supreme Court says the brand added that it is looking to "redress for extensive damages defendants caused in connection with an advertising campaign Balenciaga hired them to produce." Clothing worn by children included fishnet stockings, chokers, string vests, and chains.
